A Night at the Canadian Museum . . . of Nature . . . in the day

Some photos from the Canadian Museum of Nature. More than 1/2 of the museum is closed for renovations until 2010. Even still, there were some interesting things to see:

I love vultures. They eat dead things you know. Like, dead when they found it. Kind of like people at the grocery store. And they are bald. Kind of like people at the grocery store.

I went up on the mountain range to check out these rams. They were pretending there was someone behind me so I would turn around. Turns out, there were people behind me.

Time for a Mexican Standoff. I didn't know there were Banthas on Hoth.

Staring down the Bantha. Caribou eat Bantha. Oh ya that's right, they are not vegetarians. Blood thirsty little buggers.

Awwww, momma bear is getting a Coke for her cub!!!
Actually, she's about to Freddy Krueger a baby seal, Canadian style.

Shhhhh. He hears something . . .

. . . oohhhhh, its a baby dinosaur. Wait what? This isn't Jurassic Park. Or is it?
That's what the National Research Council must be doing in Ottawa, cloning dinosaurs. I bet they make a wicked omelet.

Sorry Kirk Cameron, proof of evolution. There was a croco-duck.

Aaaarrrrgggghhhhhhh! T-Rexes mad at the lack of Buffalo Style Pterodactyl wings in the modern era. I would be too.

Run!!!!!!
(this looks like I photoshopped it, but this is real. There were trees INSIDE. Crazy.)
