Saunder's Farm Haunting Continued

Pamphlet for the Farm. It runs all October long, but after Hallowe'en, it's all over! The night time is definitely busier than the day time for all the scares.

Map of Saunders Farm for the Night Activities. Highlights include:
  • Barn of Terror (a haunted house throughout a barn)
  • Field of Screams (outdoor haunted 'house' around a swamp) Very spooky!
  • Stage Shows (twiFright is the production, but we missed it)
  • aMAIZEing Corn Cannon
  • Haunted Hayride (my fave of the whole trip!)

Jack'o'Lanterns Carved and on Display.

The Haunted Pathway . . . ooooooooh! Watch out for 'scare-actors' roaming the park - they will get you . . .

Entrance to The Mile Maze.

I won't lie, we cheated in the maze and exiting.

The Middle - so close!

The Grapevine Maze, with trivia on Theseus. And grapes!

Another hedge maze.

And another hedge maze.

BUT BY NIGHT, SAUNDERS FARM TRANSFORMS INTO HELL's PLAYGROUND.

ADULTS ONLY

(I don't know if its adults only, but its waaay to scary for little ones)

The Haunted Hayride. This was a blast!

Here's a video on the Haunted Hayride:

The Hayride was awesome. Not only do you have the guys jumping out of the woods and some excellent displays and decorations, but half the fear comes from the tractor itself. The trailer you ride on is rickety, you sit on benches and there are no seat belts, and the tractor goes at top speeds, swinging around corners, through a flooded swamp. Your rocked around in the cold and I had to give it to the driver because one slip and it would be a REAL bloody mess. What a rush!

Blacklight decorations!
The Barn of Terror was fun too:

So was the Field of Screams:

Jack'o'lighterns?

Overall, this was a great early Hallowe'en outing. Dress warmly, it gets down right bitter. And bring cash. I also recommend getting advanced tickets to cut down costs. But do not, I repeat DO NOT get the VIP tickets for $40. I thought it was for two people, but it was per person, and the VIP access to parking and jumping lines would not have been worth it. Or the free drink.
